A few days ago, I was honored to be a guest on Marie Alessi’s podcast, “Unsilence Grief.”
Marie, who lost her husband suddenly, empowers others in their grief-healing journey. In this heart-to-heart interview, we explored the ambiguous loss all care partners experience and my personal relationship with grief as I care for my wife.
This conversation offers unique insights and support for navigating the complex emotions of caregiving and grief.
You can watch the interview on YouTube (below) or listen to it on Spotify. Please tune in and share your thoughts with me afterward!
Wishing you peace,
Cheryl
This podcast was very helpful, Cheryl, and I want to learn more as I continue my journey as caregiver to Alan whose dementia hasn’t been thoroughly diagnosed, but was originally diagnosed as mild cognitive impairment.
It’s a journey I never imagined, tho I did expect it, since his twin brother spent the last six years of his life in a memory facility.
I just learned of your current work and situation (though we, of course, have known one another a long time:) from our mutual friend, Bess Dillman, who years ago introduced me to the glories of hiking.
I would love to sit down with you at some point
Thanks again for the podcast.
