Everyone on the caring journey will feel guilt at one time or another. When I have been able to allow room in my heart for my own guilt everything changes…for the better!  Sometimes just saying “I’m sorry” makes a huge difference.

There is an endless list of reasons that caregivers feel guilty. Perhaps you have behaved in a way that you are not proud of, or you have feelings of resentment, followed by guilt.

I have had clients who even feel guilty about being guilty. What a vicious cycle!
